CAMA to hold Power-Up event

The 11th annual Connecticut Antique Machinery Spring Power-Up event will be May 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Kent.

The event features rides on a steam train, displays of giant industrial steam engine, gasoline engines and antique tractors, a sawmill in operation and tours of the Connecticut Museum of Mining, a working blacksmith shop and the historic Cream Hill Agricultural School.

A flea market and food will also be offered at CAMA, Route 7 North, just beyond Kent Center.

Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for kids 6-10 and free for children under 6.
