The 61st Bridgewater Country Fair will be held Aug. 17-19 on the grounds behind the firehouse on Route 133 in Bridgewater.

The event, which organizers expect draw thousands of patrons from the area, is sponsored by the Bridgewater Volunteer Fire Department.

The fair will be open Aug. 17 from 4 to 11 p.m., Aug. 18 from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Aug. 19 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Major fair highlights will include an opening ceremony Aug. 17 at 6:30 p.m., followed by a parade at 6:45 p.m.; a fireman's muster Aug. 18 at 11 a.m.; an antique tractor pull Aug. 18 at 2:30 p.m.; a pedal tractor pull for children 10 and under Aug. 18-19 at 11 a.m.; a garden tractor pull Aug. 19 at 11:30 a.m.; a variety of musical performances and freestyle motocross demonstrations throughout the three-day event; and a firemen's raffle.

Admission to the fair is $8 for adults and free for children under 12.

A three-day pass will be available for $16. Seniors aged 60 and older will be admitted for $5 Aug. 18-19.
