To the Editor:

It’s easy to blame the politicians for the factories that closed and jobs that evaporated, but the truth is it is our fault for wanting cheap goods.

First they were made in Japan, then in China, then anywhere outside of the United States.

The only way those jobs will come back is for wages to come down. Will the unions allow that?

Will we pay more? I doubt it.

Then we have a Congress that keeps spending money but doesn’t raise taxes to pay the bills and some of the rich who don’t pay at all.

Congress “charges” the shortfall resulting in our debt that just keeps growing.

You can blame the politicians for that.
