Singer-songwriter Bill Lauf of Warren will perform concerts Nov. 22 and 23 at 8 p.m. each night in Litchfield. Lauf has performed shows solo or with accompaniment at Milton Hall on Route 202 since the late 1970s.

The tenor guitarist has been joined by Lui Collins, Guy Wolff, Horace Williams, Susan Osborn, Gordon Titcomb and his daughter, Lura Lauf, over the years.

He will perform material from his four recordings, as well as new songs written in the past year.

Lauf learned the tenor guitar from his father when he was about 10 and has maintained a performing career since that time.

His songwriting, often centered around weather, the seasons and New England and eastern Canada, was influenced by such artists as Don and Phil Everly, the Beatles, Harry Nilsson, Laura Nyro, Bruce Cockburn and Randy Newman.

His material and style are eclectic, from ballads and 12-bar blues to reggae/rock and soft country.
