Bettina Paladino, 80, was a longtime volunteer

Mrs. Paladino was born in East Haven, daughter of the late Frank and Theresa Pellegrino.
She attended East Haven schools and spent her life caring for her family.
Mrs. Paladino spent many years as a volunteer at the Fowler Convalescent Home in Guilford.
Mrs. Paladino is survived by four sons, Matthew Paladino, and his wife, Kathleen, of New Canaan, Frank Paladino, of Madison, Mark Paladino, and his wife, Mary, of Brookfield, and Scott Paladino, of New Milford; a brother, Nicholas Pellegrino, of East Haven; a sister, Theresa Ardolino, of Hamden; and seven grandchildren, Michael, Alex, Teddy, Nancy, Nicole, Christine and Kathleen; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Louis and John Pellegrino; and six sisters, Fanny Franco, Clara King, Anna Paolillo, Rosie Carrano, Elizabeth Galliccio and JuJu Aloia.
There are no calling hours.
The Green Funeral Home of Danbury was in charge of arrangements.
