Three women aged 20 to 40 are sought and will be asked to read from the script at the audition.

"Boston Marriage" is the first play of the 2005 Sherman Players' season.

John Taylor of Sherman, who directed Arthur Miller's "A View From the Bridge" last season, will direct the production. Barbara Rogers of New Fairfield is the producer.

"Boston Marriage" is set in the Victorian era. The play was originally produced by the American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge, Mass., opened in 1999 at the Hasty Pudding Theatre and later was produced off-Broadway at the Public Theater.

"Boston Marriage" will open April 15 and be performed Friday and Saturday nights at 8 through April 30, with one Sunday matinee.
