The Northwest Connecticut Arts Council is encouraging the public and all types of cultural organizations, cultural businesses and artists to participate in a region-wide survey, "Tell Us Like It Is," by April 1.

The arts council will use the results from the survey to help shape the cultural future of Northwest Connecticut.

The council hopes to receive at least 1,000 replies.

The council serves 25 towns, including New Milford, Washington, Warren, Kent and Roxbury.It has been almost a decade since the last region-wide cultural assessment survey. Th
