The Bridgewater Country Fair art exhibit will award more than $1,000 in cash prizes this year, including a $500 first-place prize.

There is a $10 entry fee for up to three pieces and $20 for up to six pieces.

Children may enter the competition for free.

New this year, sculpture will be accepted.

Sculpture proposals must be sent to by Aug. 15.

Other artwork to be exhibited must be framed and ready to hang.

Children's artwork must be matted.

Entries must be tasteful in subject manner and be original pieces.

Nudes and giclee will not be accepted.

All artwork must be dropped off at the firehouse on Route 133 on Aug. 20 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Sculpture that has not been approved prior to Aug. 15 will not be accepted.

All art must remain in the show until Aug. 23 at 5 p.m., and may be picked up that night from 5 to 7 p.m.
