Arleen M. Blunt, 71, of Danbury, wife of 18 years to Leland (Peter) Blunt, died Oct. 13 at Danbury Hospital.

She was born June 11, 1941, in Atlantic City, N.J., daughter of the late Joseph M. and Angelina (Orsino) Pisco.

Mrs. Blunt was a bingo fanatic and loved going to the casino.

For 12 years she served many children who took part in the lunch program at Danbury schools.

Mrs. Blunt loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Blunt is survived by her children, Diane "DeeDee" McCauley, and her husband, Forrest, of Danbury; Arleen Schultz, and her husband, Charles, of Sherman; Chucky Pickel, of Danbury; Paulie Grathwhol, of Waterbury; Paula Derdall, and her fiancé Rich, of New Fairfield; Susie Brady, of Danbury; and Daniel Grathwhol, and his fiancé, Jodi, of Waterbury; her stepchildren, Rhonda Bean, of New Hampshire; LeAnn Blunt, of New Jersey; Karen Blunt, of New Hampshire; and Peter Blunt, of Connecticut; 19 grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Angie Ruggiero, and her husband, Richard, of Danbury; and Joanne Cormier, and her husband, Roland, of Indiana; her brother, Joseph Pisco Jr., of Indiana; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Deanna, Josephine and Palma.
