Antonio "Fuzzy" Pane Jr., 81, of Danbury, died April 19, 2010, at his home. He was the husband of Marjorie B. (Valkenburgh) Pane.

Mr. Pane was born Dec. 28, 1928, in Danbury, the son of the late Antonio Sr. and Rose (Tomanio) Pane.

A lifelong resident, he graduated from Danbury High School and served in the National Guard during the Korean War.

He was employed for many years as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. He was later employed by the city of Danbury, working at the Danbury landfill until his retirement.

In addition to his wife of 65 years, Mr. Pane is survived by a son, Michael A. Pane, and his wife, Karen, of New Milford; a daughter, Toni J. Hoffmann, and her husband, Richard, of Danbury; a brother, Angelo Pane, and his wife, Sally, of Florida; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

The Green Funeral Home in Danbury was in charge of the arrangements.
