Albert P. Marino, 72, of Brewster, N.Y., died May 20, 2009, in Danbury.

Mr. Marino was born Jan. 16, 1937, in Danbury, son of the late Michael and Rose (Donato) Marino.

After attending Danbury schools, he later served with the United States Air Force.

He was a parishioner of St. Lawrence O'Toole Church in Brewster.

Mr. Marino worked for 20 years in shipping and receiving for Energy Research in Danbury and most recently had been a custodian for
New Fairfield High School before retiring in 2006.

He is survived by a daughter, Teri Marino of Pittsfield, Maine; five sisters,
Philomena Garcia of Danbury, Teresa Lobdell and her Ronald of Bethel, Anita Jones and her husband William of New Milford, Marilyn Scalzo and her husband Louis of Bridgewater and
Elaine Potenziani and her husband Nicholas of Newtown; two grandchildren, Shannon Davis of Plymouth, Maine, and Brent Davis of Woolwich, Maine; a great-grandson, Brody Davis of Newport, Maine; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife of 31 years, Joann, in 2000.

The Beecher Funeral Home of Brewster, N.Y., was in charge of arrangements.
