Two programs in an "Aging in the Home" series will be offered in Bridgewater in coming weeks.

The series is co-sponsored by Burnham Library and Community Caring of Bridgewater, with a Lifelong Library Learning sponsorship grant provided from the Pathways Initiative of the Connecticut Community Foundation.

Programs run from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Main Street library.

Programs will include "Aging at Home: Home Modifications" with Home Crew Connecticut's Jim Gustin March 23 and "Navigating at Home Versus Assisted Living Choices" with Betsy Allehaut of Purkiss Capital Advisors and Joan Garbow, geriatric care manager with Joan Garbow & Associates, April 13.

In addition, the library has an online information database that offers medical evidence-based reports, reference books, videos and more, and may be remotely accessed using a Burnham Library barcode.

The database is provided for library patrons by New Milford Hospital and may be accessed by visiting
