The third annual Celebration of Young Photographers will be presented Saturday, Dec. 7, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. by the After School Arts Program, based in Washington.

The event will be at Arethusa Farm at 556 South Plains Road in Litchfield.

A panel of photographers and collectors will jury photographs submitted by students in grades three through 12, each expressing an interpretation on this year's theme, which aligns with the 50th year anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech: "In what ways do you see your dreams of freedom, courage or kindness manifested in your world today?"

Following the exhibit, there will be an event celebrating the selected top young photographers.

Photographs will be for sale, with proceeds to benefit ASAP's arts programs for children.
