The After School Arts Program in Washington, which serves northwestern Connecticut, is accepting registration for its upcoming programs.

“Hip Hop and Party Dancing” for children in grades K-5 will be held on four Tuesdays in March beginning March 7 at Hill and Plain School in New Milford.

Austin Dailey will lead the workshop.

Students in K-2 will meet from 3:45 to 3:45 p.m. and students in grades 3-5 will meet from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m.

The fee is $60.

“Wizards School of Magic” will meet four Wednesdays in March beginning March 8 from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. at Burnham School in Bridgewater.

Magician Tom O’Brien will lead the course.

The fee is $48 for Region 12 residents and $60 for nonresidents.

“Storyboarding with Alex Echevarria” will begin Feb. 22 from 2:35 to 4:05 p.m. at Shepaug Valley School in Washington.

The four-session workshop will explore the first step in the journey of bringing the written word to life on the screen.

In addition, a “Hip Hop & Dance Party” with Austin Daily will be held Feb. 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. at SVS.

Attendees are invited to wear their most comfortable clothes.
