MILFORD — State Sen. Gayle Slossberg, D-Milford, announced Friday WFSB-TV would be back on Optimum Cable for customers in Milford, Orange and Woodbridge, beginning immediately.
For most of these subscribers, WFSB, also known as Channel 3, was the only place on the television dial they could get access to the CBS television network.
WFSB, the CBS affiliate in Connecticut, has been off Optimum since early January because of a contract dispute with Altice (formerly known as Cablevision), which provides Optimum cable service.
Slossberg and other politicians have repeatedly pressured both companies to come to an agreement, and in January she sought intervention from the Federal Communications Commission to settle the matter.
