The venue was a bit different, yet the inherent charm of the event was very much in evidence.

The 26th annual Washington antiques show was held Oct. 5-7 at Washington Primary School.

The event, a major fundraiser for Gunn Memorial Library & Museum, was moved this time around from Bryan Memorial Town Hall while repairs were being done following a late-summer explosion.

A preview cocktail party opened the show Oct. 5 and was followed Oct. 6 by a collector's party, featuring Allegra Levy and her quartet.

A silent auction was also held in conjunction with both evening events.

The show continued on to a receptive patronage through mid-afternoon on Oct. 7.

The event featured 20 dealers from around the northeast.
