The spirit of the holidays permeated the church Dec. 1 as the Sherman Congregational Church hosted its annual Christmas bazaar.

Families and friends of the church and those simply looking for a Christmas gift or a tasty cup of hot chocolate stopped by to enjoy the event.

Among the bazaar's features were numerous homemade items, fresh greens, a candle shop, homemade cakes, pies, breads and other treats, jewelry, a tag sale and a busy children's store.

A luncheon of homemade soup and bread was served throughout the day.

All funds will be forwarded to Community Relief.
