Snow forecast cancels COVID testing at one Danbury site

DANBURY — A coronavirus testing site will be closed on Saturday due to inclement weather.

The Connecticut Institute for Communities has canceled its testing day at the Greater Danbury Community Health Center. Snow is expected Friday night into Saturday.

A session has been added from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday in the rear parking lot of 120 Main St. Testing will also be held from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday, as well as 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. next Saturday. Testing is free and open to all, regardless of symptoms or exposure. Pre-registration is not required. Patients are accepted via drive-up and walk-up.
