Future programs: The center is working on a program by the New Milford VNA; scams, presented by the town's state trooper; memory, presented by Dr. Susann Varano; and a talk by the state of Connecticut Jury Outreach Program.

Travel Group: One-day and overnight trips are planned. Day trips include visits to the Goodspeed Opera House, with lunch on Lady Katherine, Thimble Island; the 9/11 Memorial; the Pumpkin Festival in Keene, N.H.; and Mystic Seaport. Overnight trips include visits to Quebec City and Montreal, and the Biltmore Estates and Great Smokies.

Senior suppers: Daily, 4-6 p.m. At New Milford Hospital, 21 Elm St., $5. Senior supper card required; cards available through the Park and Rec office. Reservations are required by the day before at 2 p.m. by calling 860-210-7470.

Volunteer openings at Kent Senior Center: Community volunteers are needed to assist with the Elderly Nutrition Program Mondays and Wednesdays at the Kent Senior Center, Swifts Lane.
