BRIDGEWATER SENIOR CENTER
Tuesdays: Computer Club 1, 10 a.m. to noon. Silver Needles (quilters), 1-4 p.m. VNA blood pressure (second Tuesday each month), 1-2 p.m.
Wednesdays: Tai Chi, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Mah Jongg, 1 p.m. (call to confirm dates).
Thursdays: Coffee hour, 10:30 a.m. (unless special event is planned).
Fridays: Poker, 10 a.m. Canasta, 1 p.m.
Trips are open to non-Bridgewater residents.
Birthday socials: July 18 and Aug. 21, 1 p.m.
Lunch: July 24, noon.
Screening of "The Help": July 25, 1 p.m.

Trip to Goodspeed Opera House to see "Hello Dolly": Aug. 29. Lunch on the Lady Katharine will precede the show. $87/person for lunch and play. About $25/person for transportation, depending on number of attendees.

Mondays: center opens at 10:30 a.m. for games, cards, Bingo, Wii sports; meal program served at 12:30 p.m., suggested donation of $3, reservations required by calling 860-927-3403.
Tuesday: ROMEO (Retired Old Men Eating Out), 8:30 a.m., The Villager Restaurant, Main Street, newcomers are welcome.

Theater trips to Goodspeed Opera House: Aug. 7: "Hello Dolly." Oct. 16: "The Most Happy Fella." Offered to Region 1 residents by Kent and Sharon recreation departments. Trips include transportation via the Northwest Connecticut Transit District bus, lunch at Gelston House and ticket to the 2 p.m. show. $85/person. Van will pick up residents at town hall at 9:45 a.m. To sign up, call 860-927-1003.
Bus to Torrington: Second Tuesday of each month for shopping, lunch and medical appointments, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in Torrington. Offered by the Northwest Connecticut Transit District. Appointments should be made between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. by calling 866-906-7433.
