MONROE — There was yet another car accident at the intersection of Route 110 and Wheeler Road Tuesday afternoon — the second at the intersection in a week.

According to a post on the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department Facebook page, police, emergency medical services and firefighters responded to the two-car accident. The post stated that there were no serious injuries, though airbags in both cars were deployed.

It’s the second crash in a week at an intersection that has been the site of many collisions. Last week, an accident sent two cars flying into a ditch in the early evening of Aug. 13. Fire officials, police and paramedics all responded to the scene, but there were no serious injuries.

Note: An earlier version of this story erroneously state that the accident was at the intersection of Route 110 and Wheeler’s Farm Road.
