State Rep. Clark Chapin, R-67, has received the support of the Realtors Political Action Committee in his bid for the Nov. 6 election for the 30th District state Senate seat.

The district covers the towns of New Milford, Kent, Brookfield, Canaan, Cornwall, Goshen, Litchfield, Morris, North Canaan, Salisbury, Sharon, Warren and Winchester, as well as a portion of Torrington.

RPAC is a voluntary, nonpartisan committee of the Connecticut Association of Realtors that promotes home ownership and the right to freely transfer, own and use real property of all types.

It strives to encourage Realtors to take a more active part in the political process and to fulfill their civic responsibilities.

RPAC provides support to chosen candidates of all occupations, not just Realtor practitioners.

Rep. Chapin has chosen not to accept any financial support from RPAC or any other political action committee.
