-Education: Graduated from Seton Hall Preparatory School, Newark College of Engineering with a B.S. in mechanical engineering, Union College with an M.S. in operations research and applied statistics and the University of New Haven with an M.S. in environmental engineering.

-Political and community experience: He is a member of the Town Council, having served from 1987 to 1993 and 1995 to present. He is a member of the Ambulance Facility Building Committee and several Town Council committees. He is a past member of the Elementary School Building Committee and the New Milford Board of Selectmen from 1975 to 1987.

-Three most important issues facing our town related to the office being sought and proposed solutions:

1) Economic development to provide employment and improve the tax base: Completion of the sewerage extension south on Route 7; creation of an Economic Development Corporation.

2) Upgrade the existing emergency communications network to provide better communications in all areas of town to enhance the safety and effectiveness of emergency personnel: Seek funding for improving or replacing existing towers, providing the necessary transmission frequencies, and acquiring the necessary communications equipment.

3) Improve the Code of Ethics Process: Work with the ad hoc group created by the Town Council and the Ethics Commission to provide appropriate rules of procedure and recommend appropriate revisions to the Code of Ethics for consideration by the Town Council.
