New Milford Public Library on Main Street will offer a variety of programs in the coming weeks.

Offerings will include a screening of "Anonymous" Feb. 29 at 6 p.m.; a presentation on the history of quilting as an American craft and art form with master quilter Veralyn Davee March 7 at 6:30 p.m.; a screening of "Song of Sparrows" March 12 at 1 p.m.; and a program with Saloma Furlong, author of "Why I Left the Amish," March 21 at 6:30 p.m.

Programs for children will include the next Young Adult Council meeting for students in grades 6 to 9 March 9 at 6:30 p.m.

Other ongoing activities include a creative writing club for students in grades five through 12 the first Wednesday of every month from 4 to 5 p.m.; a Teen Book Club for youths age 11 to 18 the fourth Wednesday of each month from 4 to 5 p.m..
