The Pratt Nature Center in New Milford has announced its upcoming programs.

A homeschool nature series for youths ages 8-12 will be held Wednesdays beginning in September.

The program will meet Sept. 17 and 24; Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29; Nov. 5, 12, 19 and 26; and Dec. 3, 10 and 17.

The fee is $175 per student per month.

A Skills and Arts for Girls of the Earth group for youths ages 10-15 will meet Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Other age groups are welcome.

The cost is $25 per session.

A walking club for adults meets Tuesdays at 9 a.m.

Admission is free for members and $5 for non-members.

A teen leadership program for students entering 10th grade and higher is planned.

The group will meet Oct. 10 at 6:45 p.m. and Nov. 7 and Dec. 5 at 5:45 p.m.

Volunteers will work with the center's campers and explore and build skills.

A program, "What's In Our Backyard?," will be held Oct. 11 and 25, Nov. 1, 15 and 22 and Dec. 6 and 20.

Adults and families are welcome to participate in nature walks and activities from 10 a.m. to noon.

Vacation camp for school-aged children will be held Sept. 26, Oct. 13, and Nov. 4 and 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Registration is required.

Winter camp for school-aged children will be held Dec. 26, 29-31 and Jan. 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A preschool enrichment program for children aged 3 to 5 will be held Mondays and/or Wednesdays from 1 to 2:30 p.m. or Tuesdays from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

Participants will be outdoors to gather eggs, feed the farm animals and explore nature.

After-school enrichment for school-aged children is available Mondays and/or Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
