Gunn Memorial Library and Museum on Wykeham Road in Washington will offer two events -- a program on paranormal activities at the library and museum and the second annual Washington Green Cemetery Tour -- in the coming days.

The paranormal program will take place Oct. 29 at 6:30 p.m. at Gunn Memorial Library on Wykeham Road.

The program will consist of the results of Insight Paranormal Agency's recent paranormal investigation at the 1908 library and 1781 museum buildings.

Tours of the cemetery will be held Oct. 30 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the museum, also on Wykeham Road.

A rain date of Nov. 1 is set.

Prior to cemetery tours, patrons may view an exhibition of funeral artifacts, including authentic 19th century coffins, a Civil War-era embalming table, post-mortem Victorian mourning photographs and grave stones.

Tours will depart from the museum every 10 minutes, following a path of luminaries through the cemetery.

Patrons are encouraged to bring a flashlight.

Residents are invited to bring their carved and painted pumpkins for participation in the museum's pumpkin decorating contest. Awards will be distributed.
