New Milford hires new engineer
A new town engineer is on board in New Milford.
James Rotondo of Winchester was hired March 25 to the position. He had served for three years as the director of public works in Winchester.
Rotondo was one of five people interviewed for the position. His starting salary is $91,500, with benefits.
Starting July 1, he will also serve as the town's assistant public works director.
Rotondo attended Manhattan College and holds a BS in civil engineering and a MS in environmental engineering.
His work history includes operating and consulting through his own firm, Rotondo Engineering, from 2005 to 2010 and working at Rotondo Precast from 1981 to 2005.
