Names sought of Vietnam vets from Warren

The names of Vietnam veterans from Warren are sought to be engraved in a granite memorial bench to be placed in front of the new town office building.
In particular, the names of honorably discharged veterans who were residents of the town Warren at their time of service in any of the five branches of the military between Aug. 5, 1964, through May 7, 1975, are sought.
To date, 32 names have been verified through the Warren town clerk's records.
If space is available on the monument and if the veteran wishes to have their unit, job description or rank listed with their name, the request may be accommodated.
A copy of the veteran's DD214 or DD215 paperwork is required. All copies of such paperwork will be properly destroyed upon completion of the monument.
