Loaves presents new Bridge Street plan
The new application would be for a two-story, 4,024-square-foot building with about a 2,000-square-foot footprint.
The former Straub plumbing building at the rear of the property would be demolished and parking spaces created.
The existing four-family residence at the front of the property has been reduced to three families by tearing out the kitchen in a studio apartment to create a storage area.
The new hospitality house building would contain a kitchen, dining room, storage area, conference room and mechanical room on the ground floor.
The main level would include offices, conference room, laundry and restrooms.
Loaves & Fishes would relocate its existing soup kitchen program to Bridge Street from the Richmond Citizen Center at 40 Main St.
The public hearing will continue June 9 at 7 p.m. at town hall.
