Jessie Brusie, 94, had lived in New Milford

Mrs. Brusie was born July 30, 1915, in Stanford, N.Y., daughter of the late Henry and Marion (Dempsey) Pitcher.
Soon after her marriage, she moved to Waterbury, where she raised her family. In 1960, she moved to New Milford, where she lived for 46 years.
Mrs. Brusie is survived by a son, Charles W. Brusie and his wife, Grace, of Newington; three daughters, Marion Monnerat and her husband, Edward, of Waterbury, Sandra Presley and her husband, Jack, of Hollis, N.H., and Jane Linn and her husband, William, of Wilmington, N.C.; her grandchildren, Wendy Presley and her husband, Jonathan Tauscher, of Lee, N.H., Erica Presley and her husband, Jonathan Ramsay, of Dover, N.H., Steven Brusie and his wife, Gisela Velez, of Weston, Mass., Karen Shepherd of Newington, Janet Pelland and David of Farmington, Tracey Hoffenberg and Matthew, of Tewksbury, Mass., and Nicholas Linn, of Gainesville, Fla.; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Henry Pitcher; and two sisters, Coralie Pilch and Agnes Barrett.
A funeral service will take place tomorrow (Saturday) at 11 a.m. at the New Milford United Methodist Church at 68 Danbury Road (Route 7). Burial will follow at Irondale Cemetery, Millerton, N.Y.
The Lillis Funeral Home of New Milford was in charge of arrangements.
