Kids of all ages flocked April 6 to New Milford Hospital to enjoy and learn at the hospital's second annual Family Day.

The free event at the Elm Street facility promoted physical activity, health education, screenings, good nutrition and general health, wellness and safety.

Among the opportunities for patrons young and old, and those in between, were health screenings; information about Plow to Plate healthy foods program; and Senior Suppers education and integrative medicine programs and services.

Also offered were the hospital therapy dogs; face painting; a distracted driver demonstration; a Pratt Nature Center seed planting; a canine dog demonstration; Amber Alert child identification; and hospital tours.
