The holiday season was ushered in Nov. 15-16 by Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Sherman.

The church's annual Christmas fair and marketplace offered a wide variety of attractions for its appreciative patrons.

The Old Curiosity Shop was a popular destination.

Church members sold cookies by the pound, as well as homemade fruit jams, pepper jelly, fudge and candy and handmade crafts.

A silent auction and raffles, featuring a watercolor by Anthony Faranda of Gaylordsville, were also popular features.

Vendors peddled custom Celtic alphabet cards and prints, hand-painted glass gifts, bows and headbands, filigree ornaments, jewelry and more.

For those stopping by Saturday at lunch, soups and chili were on the menu.
