Andres Aquino, fashion designer and producer-founder of Couture Fashion Week in New York City, has announced the event will partner with Healing the Children Northeast in New Milford for its September season.

The objective is to raise awareness and funds in support of the nonprofit organization, that provides free surgical, dental and medical treatment to children in need, around the corner and around the world.

Teams of surgeons, physicians, dentists, nurses and medical technicians contribute their skills to these efforts in the United States and abroad, including missions to China, Vietnam, Thailand, Peru, Colombia, India, and Brazil.

The organization has treated more than 42,000 children.

The event is held this week through Sunday, Sept. 8 at The New Yorker Hotel, 481 8th Ave., in New York.

Representatives of HTCNE will be available to provide additional information about upcoming missions and accept donations.

A silent auction is planned.

A portion of Couture Fashion Week ticket sale proceeds will be donated to HTCNE.
