Gayle Elizabeth Sunseri, 65, of Porter Road, West Salem Tonwship, Pa., and Royal Road, Danbury, died Aug. 10, 2009, at her residence.
Mrs. Sunseri was born April 17, 1944, in Tower, Pa., daughter of the late William and June (Zerbe) Hornbeck.
She was a graduate of Porter Tower High School. She worked as a certified teacher's aide for 13 years at Stadley Rough and Pembroke Elementary schools in Danbury.
Mrs. Sunseri was Catholic by faith. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She married Anthony Sunseri Jr. on Nov. 5, 1966.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Sunseri is survived by two daughters, Michele Geier and her husband, Chris, of New Milford, and Andrea Sunseri, of Middletown; a son, Mark Sunseri, of Danbury; a sister, Rose Salada and her husband, Paul, of Manheim, Pa.; and four grandchildren, Justin Sunseri, Nicholas Sunseri, Quinn Geier and Carly Geier.
