Cops: ‘Large sum of cash’ stolen from Bridgeport seafood restaurant
BRIDGEPORT — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in a burglary after a cash drawer was stolen from a waterfront seafood restaurant.
Police said the male suspect broke into Mr. Crab Seafood and Bar on Fairfield Avenue by throwing a brick through a window shortly before midnight July 26.
“Taken was a point-of-sale cash drawer, containing a large sum of cash,” police said.
Police released a photo of the suspect in the burglary in the hopes the public could identify him.
The man was last seen walking into Fairfield, police said.
