St. John’s Concert series kicks off its third season at 3 p.m. this Sunday with a performance by the Westgate Chamber Ensemble.

All concerts in the series are free and open to the public. The audience is encouraged to donate nonperishable food or money to the Loaves and Fishes Building Fund in place of purchasing tickets.

This Sunday’s performance will include Faure’s “Cello Sonata No. 2” and Bolling’s “Suite for Cello and Jazz Piano.”

The concert will be at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 7 Whittlesey Ave. on the Green.

The Westgate Chamber Ensemble members can be heard in concerts throughout Connecticut and New York City, regularly performing with groups, including the Radio City Orchestra, Kent Singers, Blackmore’s Night, the Bar Harbor Music Festival String Orchestra and the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra.
