NEW MILFORD -- Replacement of the bridge on Riverview Road in the Gaylordsville section is on target for a spring 2014 start date.
The Inland Wetlands Commission approved the work at its Sept. 12 meeting.
The bridge will be fully replaced with a 20-foot concrete precast bridge of slightly larger span and width than the present steel beam cast unit.
April has been tentatively targeted as the start date on the project, which is anticipated to take six months to complete.
The road will be closed during bridge replacement.
