EARLIER STORY

Metro-North is reporting delays of up to 20 minutes for Grand Central Terminal-bound trains Tuesday morning.

It says a bridge strike at near 125th Street in Harlem has prompted speed restrictions.

The delays are affecting New Haven, Harlem and Hudson Line trains heading into GCT.

With speed restrictions in place, its causing train congestion on the tracks.

New Canaan Branch service is experiencing delays of up to 25 minutes due to congestion resulting from an earlier bridge strike.

The speed restriction will stay in place until the bridge is checked for any structural damage.
