Joe Chemero and Brenda Bartram combined offensive talents to power the B & B Mason coed softball team to a 14-4 victory over Woodie's Sunday in New Milford Parks & Recreation fall slowpitch diamond action at Pettibone School.

Each B & B player had at least one hit in support of Chemero's three-hit show and Bartram's two RBIs.

In other games, Dan McCauley ripped four hits and pitcher Jesse McKay proved adept with the glove to spark the Sports Page Cafe past G.M.T. Racing, 10-5; Life Is Good outlasted Physicians' Care, 11-1; J.F.M. Masonry hammered Candlewood Valley Motors, 8-5; and The Athlete's Foot raced by Boss Hill Plumbing, 25-0.

There was no report from G.E.M. Electric vs. Brookfield Plumbing.

Another four games were slated Wednesday at Young's Field.

The dozen-team league will take off this weekend due to Labor Day but will swing back into action Wednesday, Sept. 9 at Young's Field with Brookfield Plumbing challenging Candlewood Valley Motors at 6:15 p.m. and B & B Mason dueling J.F.M. Masonry at 7:30 p.m.
