The Merryall Center for the Arts in New Milford will offer several events this weekend.

A screening of "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," starring the late Fredric March of New Milford, will be held Oct. 24, with doors to open at 7 p.m.

The movie is part of the Friday Night Flics with Fred series honoring New Milford resident Fredric March.

March won an Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role and the Venice Film Festival's award for Most Favorite Actor for his dual role as Jekyll and Hyde.

In addition to the screening, the center will offer a Halloween costume contest.

The winner will receive a subscription for the center's 2015 season.

Admission to the musical program is $25. Admission to the Oct. 24 events is $10 for adults and $5 for students. Soft drinks and popcorn will be served at the Chapel Hill Road center.

The center's "Antiques Road Show" will be held Oct. 25 from 1 to 4 p.m.

Art dealer Art Kerber, of the Green River Gallery, Millerton, N.Y., will evaluate art and Gary Pelletier, of New Milford's On The Hunt, will evaluate antiques.

The cost is $15 for the first item and $10 for each additional item.
