Washington series to address single life

New Beginnings of Northwest Connecticut will begin a Single Life Discussion Program at the Parish Hall of the First Congregational Church on the Green in Washington Sept. 3 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The group will meet for 10 weeks.
Topics to be discussed will be chosen each week for the following week.
Possible topics will include dealing with the loneliness of single life, recapturing self-esteem after divorce, wearing the mask of happiness, breaking out of the stay-at-home rut, financial issues and concerns, dating possibilities and concerns, and discovering our strengths, passions, and gifts.
During the series, the group will discuss Leo Buscaglia's book "Loving Each Other, The Challenge of Human Relationships."
