The annual Underground Railroad presentation will be held Sept. 12 in New Milford.

The event will kick off with the music of Sounds of Afrika Dance and Drum Troupe and a Pouring of Libations reenactment at 10 a.m. at the bandstand on the Village Green.

Tours of the downtown Underground Railroad locations will follow. Stops will include the Geradus Roberts House on Whittlessey Avenue (now home to Rob and Cathy Burkhart), the barn on Main Street (now home to Charles Barlow), the Boardman House on Main Street (now Cramer Anderson law offices) and the Boardman Store on Aspectuck Avenue (now part of the historical society).

Cultural Expressions slave narratives with songs and Sounds of Afrika will be held at noon on the Green.
