The New Milford Historical Society will offer a series of craft classes this fall.

The five classes, based on items from the museum's collection, will be taught by museum director and curator Paula Walton, an award-winning, nationally recognized artisan.

A minimum registration of four students is necessary for each class to be held.

Offerings will include hand quilting Aug. 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; traditional jointed teddy bears Oct. 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; patch shirred rugs Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Victorian scrap paper Christmas ornaments Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. to noon; and Moravian style cloth doll Dec. 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
