The event will feature the sale of pies and tarts donated by home and professional bakers and restaurant and lunch from noon to 3 p.m. at St. Andrew's parish hall on Main Street, and dinner prepared by a variety of chefs and chefs-in-the-making at 7 p.m.

Lunch will cost $12. Slices of pie and a beverage will be available for an additional $5.

Dinner will cost $75 per person. Reservations are required by Oct. 28 by calling 860- 927-3684.

Proceeds will benefit Kent Affordable Housing.

The organization's new plan for the year is the acquisition of an antique farmhouse that will become affordable apartments.

KAH has built a 24-unit affordable rental complex, South Common, and continues its efforts to obtain land parcels that will make building and owning homes affordable by Kent working families.
