The Sherman Playhouse will debut the Victorian-era suspense thriller "Gaslight" by Patrick Hamilton Sept. 18 at 8 p.m.

Following opening night, the play will be staged Friday and Saturday nights at 8 p.m. through Oct. 10, as well as Sept. 27 at 2 p.m.

The cast includes Steve Manzino of Holmes, N.Y., Vicki Sosbe and Sheila Echevarria of New Milford, Viv Berger of Southbury and Katya Collazo of Manchester.

John Taylor of Sherman is the director and Katherine Almquist of Sharon is the producer.

Tickets are $20. Seniors aged 65 and older are invited to a dress rehearsal, with donations accepted., Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. A pay-what-you-can-night will be held Sept. 24 at 8 p.m.
