New Milford Hospital has announced its upcoming programs.

They will include a health forum, "Living Better with Rheumatoid Arthritis," Sept. 23 from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m. and weight management workshops for adults and parents beginning later this month.

A four-part series, "A New Weigh to a Healthier You," will educate participants about the basic principles of weight management, including nutrition and exercise to help reach and keep your ideal weight for preventing disease and injury.

The series will be held Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. from Sept. 21 through Oct. 12 at the New Milford Visiting Nurse Association at 68 Park Lane Road (Route 202) and Wednesdays from 3 to 4:30 p.m. from Oct. 27 through Nov. 17 at the hospital on Elm Street.

The cost is $30.

An eight-part series, "Eat Smart, Play Hard, Have Fun," is designed for families who want to learn how to plan healthy meals, maintain a healthy weight and stay active as a family.

Classes will be held Saturdays from 9:30 to 11 a.m. from Sept. 25 through Nov. 13 at locations to be announced.

The cost is $50 per family.
