The Roxbury Senior Center has announced a variety of upcoming events.

The exercise class with physical therapist Mary O'Hara will meet Wednesdays at 2 p.m. There will be no class Feb. 23.

The $5 February luncheon will be held Feb. 23 at 12:30 p.m. with a snow date of Feb. 24.

Valerie Annis will lead a discussion of "Ladies of Missalonghi" March 16 at 12:30 p.m.

The "Soup's On" lunch will run Tuesdays from noon to 1 p.m. To cook, bake, set up or clean up, call 860-354-9604.

Free blood pressure screenings will be offered by the Visiting Nurse Services every Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Bill Chin will be available at the center every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. to give computer supportive services for seniors. Call 860-210-0056.

Free piano lessons with Dr. David Lincicome will be offered Wednesday and Saturday mornings. For more information, call 860-210-0056.

A new knitting and needlework group will meet Thursdays from 10:30 to noon.

The center will close if Roxbury public schools were to be closed or have early dismissal due to inclement weather conditions. If there were to be a delayed schools opening, all programs would run as scheduled.

The Roxbury Senior Center is located at 7 South St. and normally is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
