The Sloane-Stanley Museum in Kent will open artist Eric Sloane's personal studio to the public for the first time Aug. 14 at 1 p.m.

Sloane biographer Dr. James W. March will help interpret the significance of items in the studio and take questions.

Admission for the day will be $3.75.

The museum, located at 31 Kent-Cornwall Road (Route 7 North), is open Fridays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Regular admission is $8 for adults, $6 for senior citizens and $5 for children aged 6-11.
