The Gunn Memorial Museum in Washington will hold a dedication reception for the Georgianna Middlebrook Room Nov. 28 from 1 to 3 p.m.

The gallery is named in honor of Georgianna Middlebrook, a supporter of the Gunn.

The room will be devoted to Washington history through pictures, stories and artifacts.

The museum also will open the holiday exhibit "Washington Winter Wonderland" with a reception Nov. 28 from 1 to 3 p.m.

The exhibit, on display until Jan. 16, will feature more than 130 vintage Steiff stuffed toy animals from the Sandy Booth collection and Christmas trees decorated by Chris Zaima and Anne Chapin.

The Wykeham Road museum is open Thursdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. through January.
