The sixth annual Dog Days of Summer will be held rain or shine Sept. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in New Milford.

Activities will take place at the Animal Welfare Society at 8 Dodd Road.

The schedule will include an agility demo and try-its at 10 a.m., a police dog demonstration at 10:30 a.m., a free style demonstration at 11 a.m., a rescue parade at noon and a flyball and frisbee demonstration and try-its at 1 p.m.

Canine Good Citizen testing and a variety of games, including a cookie toss, will be available all day.

In addition, booths featuring the shelter's store items, food, canine nail clipping, canine photographer Donna Clotier and Australian Shepherd Rescue.

Barbecued food will be available.
